COMPANY BACKGROUND

It was in the mid-1990s that Fil-Chin Engineering ventured into catering products such as boilers, oil coolers, and more types of conveyor belts. It was also this time when FCE started providing specialty services such as retubing and repair of boilers, heat exchangers, and the like. Thus, FCE management decided to establish another company named Therma Control Machinery Inc. (TCMI). TCMI was instituted for the specific purpose of catering to all heat transfer requirements / queries from all over the archipelago.

In the early 2000s, FCE and TCMI started to pick-up pace when the company was already widely known for the products and services it catered, hence the management decided to venture into other investment opportunites. The FCE and TCMI tandem ventured into a lot of partnerships throughout those years and it was also during this period when the management took a leap of faith and signed an exclusive distributorship contract with Been Jau Enterprise Co., Ltd.. Been Jau is a Taiwan-based company which fabricates professional heating process equipment like boilers, oil tanks, frying kettles, vessels, etc.. With Been Jau’s products placed as one of TCMI’s arsenal of products being catered, the company soared high and eventually became one of the leading suppliers of boilers and heat exchangers in the country.

Our Vision

TCMI’s vision is to be the leading fabricator and distributor of heat transfer equipment for the Philippines by 2020. By 2020, TCMI will be able to expand its range of products to satisfy all heat transfer requirements for all companies.

We use the modern equipment and quality materials for every heat exchanger produced. From highly sensitive drilling machines, hydraulic equipment, lathe machines up to the large wide span lathe machines, radial drills and planers, All these are available to provide you with a wide variety of quality heat exchangers unique to each other. Providing modern welding equipment with welding capabilities including TIG, SMAW, SAW, FCAW and a variety of wire fluxes, allows us tomeet the most sophisticated welding procedures. Tubes are then expanded into tube sheets using torque controlled hydraulic and electric drives to assure an even expansion and leak-tight joints. All our personnel from machinists to welders are specially skilled and trained to meet the quality our customer requires.

Every heat exchanger produced and delivered is carefully inspected through out the production process by quality control engineers to assure only quality heat exchangers are delivered to our customers.

Our duties and expertise does not end with manufacturing new units. If repairing is more economical whether it will be in the field or in our plant, we have the expertise, experience and engineering staff to get the job done.
